What to Expect
All times are CDT.
While much of the work for this effort will happen behind the scenes and the project team has taken steps to make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible, SFFCU will need to make many services and products unavailable while converting our systems.
Beginning Friday, August 30 at 5:30 p.m. to Tuesday, September 3 at 10:00 a.m. expect the following:
- SFFCU will be closed and unavailable for all transactions.
- During this time, there will be NO access to the Credit Union, your SFFCU account, new savings and loan applications or supporting documents. This includes:
- Mobile app
- Online Banking
- SFFCU Contact Center
- Chat, including Fin, our virtual financial assistant
- Member Care Station in Bloomington
Be Prepared
The best way to prepare for the upcoming system change is to plan ahead.
- Conduct any online transfers and deposit checks via remote deposit capture (RDC) before 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28 to ensure you have access to funds prior to the Labor Day weekend.
- If you need to make any large purchases or require access to larger amounts of funds, we recommend you plan ahead for these financial matters and may wish to make necessary withdrawals prior to August 28. For example, property taxes for some counties in the United States are due after Labor Day.
- Ensure your contact information is correct within the system. In your online account go to Settings and select the Contact tab to review your information and make any updates before August 30 at 5:30 p.m.
- Check your account balances before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30, if you need access to account balance information. You will not be able to check your account balance between 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30 and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3.
- Print or save any eStatements you wish to retain for your records prior to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30.
